The CEO of Ghana Forestry Commission Lawyer Kwadwo Owusu Afriyie popularly known as Sir John died last night.
The former General Secretary of the NPP died at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital after testing COVID-19.
Just a day after his death, The BBC Ghana has intercepted footage showing how a young man rained lifetime curses on him. The guy was angry invoking curses from the gods of their land to kill Sir John.
In recent years curses have become part and parcel of politics in Ghana as aggrieved members of parties’ curse people they accused of short-changing them.
As a reminder, Kwadwo Owusu Afriyie was a Ghanaian lawyer and politician. He held several political positions including serving as general secretary of NPP. He was serving as the Chief Executive Officer of Forestry Commission of Ghana before his demise.
