Ghana’s incumbent president in the person of Akufo Addo has said responding to every accusations and comment from John Mahama is not worth it because there are more pressing issues to attend to as a country.
In the voice of Akufo Addo, he is focused to achieve greater things for the country and to ensure that Ghanaians are satisfied with his government.
President Akufo-Addo, however, noted that John Dramani Mahama’s numerous accusations about his government are signs of frustration he’s facing in life perhaps after losing woefully in the previous elections.
“Sometimes it’s better we leave him [John Mahama] alone so we can have serious dialogue as a country. We have plans for this country and we must stay focused.” He said in an exclusive interview with Oman FM and monitored by The BBC Ghana.
Historically, John Dramani Mahama is a Ghanaian politician who served as President of Ghana from 24 July 2012 to 7 January 2017. He previously served as Vice President of Ghana from January 2009 to July 2012 and took office as President on 24 July 2012 following the death of his predecessor, John Atta Mills.
