Minister Of Education, NAPO Breaks Silence On 2020 WASSCE Exams

Minister of Education, Dr Mathew Opoku Prempeh has disclosed that Ghana might organize final exams for all final year students without other West African countries.

The minister made this known in a live televised show on GhOne tv dubbed ‘GH Today’. Below are his speech.

If Ghana secures freedom from coronavirus and other West African Countries are not, we will proceed and conduct the exams. Officially, we are in talks with other appropriate stakeholders (referring to the West African Examination Council WAEC).

Many parents and students have been in suspense with regard to the WASSCE 2020 Exams. All schools in Ghana remains closed as directed by the President Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo in his bid to fight the COVID 19 Pandemic.

Meanwhile, the timetable drawn earlier by the officials of WAEC has been cancelled. According to WAEC, further notice is being taken to consider certain.
