Observe Prayers At Home – President Akufo Addo To Muslims

The president of Ghana His Excellency Nana Akuffo-Addo has urged all Muslims to stay home and pray as they celebrate one of their festivals Ramadan.

In a brief Nation’s address, he stated that just as Christians were affected during the Easter period, which resulted in the cancellation of the Easter festivity, our Muslims Community will also go through that same situation since the confirmed cases in the country have increased.

President Nana Addo Danquah mentioned that just as the prophet Mohammed ordered his people to stay home and pray whenever there was heavy rainfall, he’s urging all Muslims to stay home and pray rather than going to the mosque.

His Excellency Nana Addo is urging all Muslims to heed to the prophetic word from the Hadith book 13 and pray at home.

He stated:

“These instructions are in line with the Chief Imam Sheirk Osmanu Sharributu. I wish all Muslims a Ramadan Mubarak.”
