Twitter users have turned the heat on Ghanaian footballer, Asamoah Gyan after news broke out that he has allegedly assaulted a tennis player.

The man, Godwin Martey who is said to be the CEO of Websoft solutions alleges that the two brothers ganged up to physically assault him at the 37 Military Officers Mess. Narrating his ordeal on Joy FM’s Super Morning Show with Kojo Yankson, Mr. Martey recounted that he went to the 37 Military Officers Mess for a tennis game where he was paired with Asamoah Gyan.

He revealed that as the game went on, he felt cheated with the way Baffour Gyan was officiating where he decided to quit the game. He was however forced to continue the game, something he resisted and ended with him being physically beaten by the Gyan brothers.

Reacting to the incidence, Ghanaians on social media network, Twitter, have slammed Gyan for involving himself in such atrocity.
