7 suspects have been arrested by the Ghana Police in connection with the gun shooting incident which happened yesterday at Nima, a suburb of Accra, GhanaCelebrities.Com has learnt.
This was made public earlier today by the Police Department in a press conference chaired by Kwesi Ofori, the Assistant Commissioner of Police & Director of Public Relations at the Police headquarters.
The violence began with a misunderstanding between two notorious gang leaders in the community, according to DOP Kwesi Ofori.
These two gang leaders decided to publicly settle their differences with a display of ammunitions and violence, he added.

The police officer also explained that the two gangs who rule the slums in Nima have never seen eye to eye for years and this time decided to get physical by destroying properties and harming innocent residents in the process to establish their dominance in the neighbourhood.
Mentioning names of leaders of the gangs, Kwesi Ofori revealed that one Kumodji alias Ibrahim Hussein and “Bombom” aka Ali Awudu led the violence which occurred at Nima.
7 people suspected to be members of the gangs have since been arrested with other ammunitions seized by the police pending interrogation.
