Bishop David Oyedepo has taken to his Twitter page to advise Christians to pay their tithes.
The Founder and leader of Winners Chapel International stated that anyone who doesn’t pay tithe is under a financial curse and can never prosper.
When churches were closed due to Coronavirus Pandemic, most leaders of these churches sent out mobile money codes to their members to pay their tithes.
A tithe is that one-tenth of annual produce or earnings, formerly taken as a tax for the support of the Church and clergy.
Well, Pastor Oyedepo’s statement was met with mixed actions from Twitter users. While some agreed with his assertion others felt he has been irrational.
