Maame Yaa Aboagye, the Deputy Communications Director of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has observed that the NPP represents hope for the next generation in chit-chat with Peace FM.
She explained that the government had performed beyond expectation and salvaged the economy by introducing growth and development initiatives that had put the nation in good shape towards sustained transformation.
“The NPP has in its three and half years resolved the unemployment situation in the country and further improved the living conditions of the citizenry,” Maame Yaa Aboagye maintained and recounted some achievements of President Nana Akufo-Addo and the NPP citing the One-District-One-Factory which had created more than 58 factories out of the 181.
“Nation Builders Corps (NABCO) for the unemployed graduates, Youth Employment Agency (YEA) giving employment to more than 70,000 youth, Planting for Food and Jobs, expansion of the scholarship scheme, massive employment in the areas of education, health, afforestation, among others.
“NDC’s regime was filled with despondency, hardships, unemployment, power outages among others which made life unbearable for the citizenry but our government within three and a half years brought some smiles on their faces and hope for future generations.
“It is quite evident that the NDC has no message for the citizenry and it is obvious they will lose the 2020 elections because their alternative is still empty, the only message they can boast about is scrapping the allowances of teachers and nurses trainees, mismanagement and massive corruption under the watch of their flag-bearer and former President Mahama and they have no message to warrant votes from the electorate,” Maame Yaa Aboagye indicated.
She also touched on the government’s free Senior High School (SHS) policy saying “indeed President Akufo-Addo has given our children a renewed sense of hope, the hope for a better tomorrow because of free SHS and our president represents the hope for the next generation of citizens and he deserves four more years to complete his visionary mission.”
