Ex-president John Dramani Mahama sometime ago posited that Ghanaians as a people have a short memory. Thus, Ghanaians tend to forget about things especially good stuff so easily.

Someway somehow, the above-mentioned cliché is true taking into consideration how Ghanaians are treating the most popular man in Ghana now, Nana Appiah Mensah of Menzgold fame.

This is because Ghanaians have within a blink forgotten about all his goodness and now his small error – the collapse of Menzgold – has become the talk of the nation. This Ghanaian attitude has been cited in a song by Ghanaian musician Panda Masson.

According to Panda Masson, it’s very sad that all the companies, donations and a host of other good things Nana Appiah Mensah was able to do have become waste and bogus to the same Ghanaians who were hailing him.

With this, he stressed that perhaps “Sika yɛ abranteɛ” which literally means “Money Talks”. It’s somehow true because the time Nam1 was spraying cash, he was seen as a god but now, his relevancy has been reduced to nothingness by Ghanaians which is very sad according to musician Panda Masson in his new jam.
