The President of Ghana, His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, has been elected the Chairman of ECOWAS.
The decision which was done unanimously by his peers, to lead the sub-regional organization, as a testament of the great leadership acumen he has amply demonstrated over the years particularly in this period of global health crisis occasioned by the COVID-19 outbreak which has shuttered the world economy and destroyed livelihoods.
Torgbi Xenodzi Dogbey II, Dufia of Klikor, Ruler of the Worgbato in Klikor has released an official Congratulatory message on the Chairmanship of His Excellency the President.
Last year, the Worgbato Klikor King, published a book, The Nation’s Prophecy, in which he detailed the Future of ECOWAS, an ECOWAS NATION to become the biggest economy in the world by the year 2134.
He believes the ascendancy of Nana Akufo Addo to the Chairmanship at this time is in the right direction to achieve the Future Vision foreseen.

H.E AKUFO ADDO CONGRATULATIONS, ECOWAS WILL SUCCEED
I want to use this opportunity to officially thank the President of the Republic of Ghana, His Excellency Nana Akufo Addo on his election as Chairman of the Authority of Heads of State and Government of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) at the ongoing 57th ECOWAS Summit, which is being held in Niamey, the Capital of Niger.
I, Torgbi Xenodzi, King of the Worgbato Kingdom of Klikor in the Volta Region hereby declare that your Leadership of ECOWAS would be the catalytic genesis to bring to fruition the ECOWAS NATION which would materialize soon as the Biggest ECONOMY in the world.
The people of Ghana trust in your Leadership and we’re grateful that you’ve been a blessing to Ghana and would also be more than a blessing to the ECOWAS African States as it’s Chairman.
The ECOWAS future Nation is assured with your assumption of office as Chairman since we would give you all the support you need to succeed to bring to fruition the ECOWAS VISION as inscribed in THE NATION’S PROPHECY BOOK last year 2019.
Almost every world leader hailed you for the leadership you had shown in this period of a global health crisis.
However, I pray the Almighty God to help you become the facilitator to overcome the following:
1. Reduce High number of cases of terrorism, insurgency, armed banditry and piracy for the region.
2. The Political unrest in Mali.
3. The coming elections presidential and parliamentary elections for Ghana, Burkina Faso, Cote d’Ivoire, Guinea and Niger.
4. Free, fair and credible elections in the ECOWAS region.
5. Ecowas single currency programme (ECO) to transform the West African States, reduce Poverty and bring prosperity to the African sub-region and its Citizenry.
6. Reduction and eventual elimination of the deadly Pandemic in the African Sub-region.
