Former President John Dramani Mahama has outrightly denied ever selling state lands to his brother while in power.
The lands which were meant for the Police and the Military were alleged to have been sold to the brother of the former president.
Addressing a campaign rally on Friday December 4, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) flagbearer swore by the Holy Bible that he never attempted such thing.
“We gave the land title to the Ghana Infrastructure Investment Fund which is an institution of the state. They wanted to build new barracks and offices for the Police and the military and also, they wanted to build a new site to extend the airport city. That is the programme I knew off.”
He added: “I never sold any state land to my brother as they claim. I swear with the Bible that I never did that. If they rather want to sell it among themselves that they should tell us.”
