The Bono Regional Chairman for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Kwame Baffoe Abronye, has threatened to sue Lordina Mahama at the Supreme Court.
His reason to take legal action against the former first lady stems from the amounts of money he claims were illegally paid and deposited into her accounts.
Speaking on Wontumi TV’s Nsempa Fie Show, the NPP Chairman vowed that “I will sue Lordina at the Supreme Court.”
He remarked that he has incriminating pictures of Lordina Mahama concealing state money in her clothe and would publish it soon.
He also addressed the spin which has been attached to payment of salaries for the wives of the President and Vice President.
According to him, the recommendation by Ntiamoa-Baidu Committee never stated that salaries should be paid to wives of the President and Vice President.
“President Nana Akufo-Addo hasn’t instructed anybody to pay his wife. He was surprised when he heard the news that salaries would be paid to his wife. He knew it wasn’t captured in the committee report and Rebecca is not ready to accept the money”, Abronye said.
He further pointed out that “take it from me, Rebecca and Samira are not ready to take monthly salary” adding that they never held discussions with anybody to demand salaries.
