The Ghana Police Service and Ghana National Fire Service have arrested some fraudsters for allegedly recruiting people into the fire fighting service
The imposters who are members of 10 were busted during the swoop at a hotel in Lapaz, Accra.
A video posted on the official Facebook page of the Ghana National Fire Service has about a hundred prospective applicants gathered at the Day and Night hotel at Abeka Lapaz, a suburb of Accra.
The applicants were going through what was supposed to be a recruitment process in the early hours of Friday, January 14, 2022.

According to some of the applicants, they have been made to pay an amount of Gh¢ 7,000 or more to the fraud syndicators.
