Confederations of African Football (CAF) organized the draw for the 2023 African Cup of Nations Qualifiers today.
48 teams were drawn into 12 groups of 4 teams each where two each are expected to qualify for the tournament.
Two from each of the 12 groups are expected to qualify for the tournament of 24 teams.
The qualifiers will start on May 30, 2022, with each team playing 6 games, 3 at home and 3 away.
Nigeria has been drawn into Group A with Sierra Leone, Guinea-Bissau and São Tomé & Principe.
2021 Champions Senegal are in in Group L with Benin, Mozambique and Rwanda. Losing finalist Egypt is joined in Group D by Guinea, Malawi and Ethiopia.
South Africa, Zimbabwe and Liberia are in Group K with Morocco.
Above are all the 12 groups with 4 teams vying to qualify for the tournament which will be hosted by Ivory Coast in June 2023.
