It has been announced that the veteran actor Prince Yawson has passed away.
It is believed that he fought off an illness for some time but ultimately succumbed to it early today at the 37 Military Hospital.
The age of Mr. Yawson was 52 years old.
The seasoned actor Bob Smith Jnr (Diaboloman), who was inconsolable once the news broke, confirmed the unfortunate tragedy.
The actor, who goes by the stage name “Waakye,” has been in a number of critically acclaimed films that have been produced in Ghana.
