After a video surfaced showing Finance Minister Ken Ofori-Atta apparently nodding off in parliament, demands for his resignation became louder.
The video of the finance minister fighting off sleepiness at all costs quickly went viral.
A lot of people think a finance minister who sleeps in front of the national news shouldn’t be in his post. Proposals for the President to dismiss him have already surfaced.
Others disagree, arguing that a finance minister’s drowsiness is not evidence of incompetence and hence should never be the reason for his dismissal.
