Santo’s final child has lamented how terrible life has been for him. Akwasi Nyamekye, the last child of famed actor Santo, claims his father’s best friend Abusuapanin Judas abandoned him.
The child approached blogger Zionfelix for an interview in order to share his hardships and hope for aid with the rest of the world.
He was so young when his father died since he was the last born and was born out of wedlock.
He had to live with one of his stepmothers, but after finishing JHS, things got difficult for him.
According to him, one of his elder brothers introduced him to actress Auntie Bee, a former wife of Santo.
She informed her that he want to work in the film business and offered him the contact information for film producer Samuel Nyamekye and a Kumasi-based Alhaji.
After conversing with the Alhaji, he promised to put him in touch with Samuel Nyamekye of Miracle Films, but he never followed through.
After knowing that there will be an audition, he decided to drive to Kumasi by himself to meet the Alhaji.
When he arrived in Kumasi, the Alhaji was unable to persuade him to visit Samuel Nyamekye.
He persisted, but every time he called, the Alhaji told him that the movie business was no longer as lively as it once was.
When asked if he had contacted Abusuapanin Judas, he expressed his disappointment because he knew Santo had children.
He went on to say that even if Judas believed the older children were fit to live, he should have remembered the last born. Akwasi Nyamekye stated that he had not seen Abusuapanin Judas since his father’s burial.
