Chairman of the Film Classification Board, Socrate Safo has chided Accra Fm’s Nana Romeo for asking Wendy Shay if she is having an affair Bullet describing him as a stupid radio presenter.
Speaking on Sammy Flex TV on Tuesday, Socrate said that attitude on the part of some presenters is damn stupid not excluding Nana Romeo from the list.
“I commend Wendy Shay for walking off that interview. It is high time female celebrities around the world considered refusing to answer such stupid and silly questions,” he said.
Accra100.5FM’s Nana Romeo who recently sacked KiDi for reporting late to an interview on his show did his thing again!
This time, he did not sack anybody; he actually made a statement that irked Ghanaian singer Wendy Shay.
During one of Wendy’s promotional tour interviews on Accra FM’s mid-morning show ‘Ayekoo Ayekoo’ on Tuesday, 9 June 2020, Nana Romeo repetitively asked her if she was having a sexual affair with her manager Bullet.
“I am not dating Bullet. I don’t know why most of the time when I go for interviews, instead of focusing on issues that will bring progress in our music industry, I get these questions … Let’s focus on my artistry, pushing my brand and Ghana music to the international level”, she said.
“I’m here to promote my single and I’m celebrating two years in the industry. Let’s move to the next question,” she added.
When Wendy said she found his questions inappropriate, the host, Nana Romeo insisted he had proof that Bullet was sleeping with her. Infuriated by the gesture, she walked out of the studio.
