After visiting them, Nigerians have dubbed Samuel Mensah, better known by his stage name Eyoh, one of Ghana’s favorite Afro-pop and Hip-Hop singers, as Africa’s Jay-Z.
Due to the similarities between Eyoh’s music and rap style and that of American musician Jay-Z, he has been dubbed “Africa’s Jay-Z.”
Eyoh dropped his recent track, “3y3 Wonkua” featuring Piesie Super. The song is available on all musical platforms.
In an exclusive interview with Ghbase.com a few years ago, Eyoh said that he had been offered a significant job with a US record company but was unable to take it on because of unanticipated circumstances.
Eyoh claims to have worked in the music business for almost ten years, beginning with artists like R2bees and Sarkodie, among others.
However, he was forced to pursue a profession as an immigration officer later on.
As the new Jay-Z of Africa, it’s clear that Eyoh is taking Ghana to the Grammys soon so we have to watch out for him.
