Children of powerful people or those in the inner circles of power tend to behave as if they are above the law.

That is allegedly the case of Akufo-Addo’s new son in law and direct child of GIHOC Distilleries CEO Maxwell Kofi Jumah, Kwabena Jumah, a young man who wooed the President’s daughter from the US.

MyNewsGh.com earlier intercepted information that revealed how Kwabena Jumah, although not a staff of GIHOC, was allegedly involved in certain management decisions that were skewed to disadvantage GIHOC and to rather benefit a private entity linked to him as the President’s future son in law then.

With the marriage taking place this week and the white wedding expected in the weekend, many have wondered what more deals Kwabena Jumah will be engaged in.

Information coming in indicates Kwabena Jumah who is approaching 50 years has a Jamaican wife and three kids in the United States specifically at New Jersey, Newark, where his ex-convict sister, Linda Jumah is currently staying.

It is however also revealed that Kwabena Jumah placed a request for a divorce from his Jamaican wife which acceptance generated controversy. Kwabena Jumah is reportedly taking good care of his three children and had separated from his wife at the time he met Dokua Akufo-Addo.

Aside from his ex-convict sister-in-law, Kwabena Jumah himself is himself alleged to have had some minor brushes with the law for which no proof has been provided by those making the allegation.

His recent marriage to President Akufo-Addo’s daughter has mostly annoyed staff of state company GIHOC who believe his boldness will become more brazen in the company where his father is head.

According to the staff of GIHOC, Kwabena Jumah aside driving a company car fueled and maintained by the company without being a staff, Kwabena Jumah is the owner of a “questionable” contract in which GIHOC is manufacturing products for another company GIHOC is supposed to be competing with in the same market, Kasapreko Company Limited.

As a result of this, GIHOC is unable to produce enough of its own products to meet market demands while taking “peanut rate” from Kasapreko, while the bigger beneficiary remains Kwabena Jumah and his father, Maxwell Kofi Jumah.
