Celebrities who have sponsored the National Democratic Congress (NDC) are all broke, according to Peter Mawuli Ekpe, the head of communications for the Film Producers Association of Ghana (FIPAG), commonly known as Abro.
This, according to him, comprises both past and present NDC supporters. During his conversation with Tony Best on Akoma FM’s Entertainment 360, Abr made this clear.
The outspoken PRO thinks that the NDC has no better deal to give any celebrity who has endorsed the political party, either in the present or in the past.
“In Ghanaian politics, all the movie actors, actresses and musicians who joined the NDC have all run at a loss and the last person of such nature is actor Michael Afrane.
“Look at how late Jewel Ackah ended up, today Mr Beautiful sells Coconut and SugarCane by the roadside, Maame Dokono also complained at a point.”
