MyNewsGh.com has intercepted a letter from the Volta Regional Coordinating Council to the effect that Municipal and District Assemblies in the Volta Region have been billed to pay amounts of monies for a tour by the Regional Minister.
According to the letter this portal intercepted, the Municipal Assemblies are expected to cough an amount of GHC 2,500 each whiles the District Assemblies have been charged to pay GHC 2,000.
This amount is expected to be paid to the Volta Regional Coordinating Council to pay for part of the cost of the tour.
The Minister’s activities during the tour will be to pay courtesy call on the MMDCEs after which he will meet with staff of the local Government Service and then visit some projects across the region.
