Pastor Adeboye, a well-known Nigerian minister of God, has connected salvation with giving tithes.
The man of God was addressing a crowd at a conference in a video that has since leaked on social media and was talking about repentance and tithing.
In the video, he is heard discussing people who took advantage of the convention’s opportunity for repentance but chose to return to their old ways rather than follow God’s instructions.
Pastor Adeboye said “make it clear to them, anyone who is not paying his tithe is not going to heaven, fulls stop”.
A social media user who said it was simple to become a millionaire in Nigeria by starting a church uploaded this video.
