Young political brain, Ramzy Buari Jnr who is popularly known in our political discourse as General Buhari has showered praises on the Vice President of Ghana who is in the person of Vice President Dr Mahammud Bawumiah.
According to General Buhari who happens to be a leading NPP communications member in Offinso South Constituency, the less privileged who seeks government’s scholarship for the past years were tasked to go through a tough time by writing an application and sending it to the scholarship Secretariat in Accra by car, this thwarted most people especially people from far districts from benefiting this golden opportunity.
Now under the tenure of His Excellency Nana Akufo Addo and his digital Bawumiah applying for the scholarship is now stress-free, it has been decentralized to our respective districts and one doesn’t even have to go to the district office to apply but rather just through online portal.
Last year alone over 300 people from Offinso Municipal benefited from this government’s scholarship and this year over 400 people applied and has undergone an interview in Offinso south municipal without having to take the risk of traveling all the way to Accra to apply for an interview.
Digitizing our system is one of the greatest achievements of this current government, this government has proven beyond any reasonable doubt that they can actually get it done and deliver on their promises without excuses as we have experienced under the Former President John Mahama who is full of excuses and now seeking to come back to damage all the repairs made by this NPP Government.
