The founder of International Gods Way Church, Bishop Daniel Kwadwo Obinim has finally spoken of the unfortunate demise of the 90-year-old woman who was killed in Kafaba in the Northern Region of the country for being labelled as a witch.
It could be recalled that a 90-year old woman was beaten to a pulp which lastly resulted in her unfortunate death after her family came to her mercies in Kafaba.
According to the general overseer of the International Gods Way Church, he was heavily weakened by the news after it went viral, and he nearly busted into tears. This made him bowed and prayed for not less than twenty (20) minutes just to seek the face of God on what might have caused it and the reality of the allegations that were levelled against the woman.
Speaking on his private OB Television, the husband of gospel music sensation (Florence Obinim) further posited that the late Madam Mariama Akua Denteh is not a witch as alleged.”…what saddens me is that the old woman wasn’t a witch as said…” – he said in a live program on OB TV.
Angel Obinim lately advised Ghanaians not to believe any pronouncement that will come from a traditionalist or a pastor who speaks evil against old women in our communities. He concluded that the action should be condemned and those perpetrators brought to book because the case could have been worse if it was to be a pastor who prophesied it.
