Some few years ago, the music industry was swept away by a certain ‘crazy’ dance style which was brought about by the viral hit song, one corner.
Justice Patapaa Amoah, the name behind one corner hit song suddenly became the toast of music lovers earning him a nomination in the VGMA.
But currently, it seems the emergence of new artistes Bosom P-Yung and AY Poyoo unto the music scene is making Patapaa less popular.
In an exclusive interview with Amansan Krakye on GBC Radio Central, Patapaa disagreed entirely that Bosom P-Yung and AY Poyoo are taking away his shine.

“Nobody can replace Patapaa in the Ghana music industry. As for me, I’m getting stronger and more popular everyday.
“When I came into the music scene, I was getting a lot of attention than what these guys are getting now so they don’t even come close. They just came to do something little and very soon they might varnish from the system.
“As for me I have been very active in the game since day one and I’m still getting bigger, moving from strength to strength”.
Patapaa is currently out with a highlife inspired song titled ‘Adam Konkonsa’ which he featured Gojit and award-winning highlife artiste, Akwaboah.
