Abro has disclosed that Captain Smart’s residence in Kumasi was wrecked, and that he was arrested for stealing as a result of the devastation.
Abro, a Kumasi-based pundit, recalls a time when he used to hang out with Captain Smart and how a home he was constructing in the Aheneman Kokobeng neighborhood of Kumasi was destroyed due to land disputes.
As reported by Abro, the property on which Captain Smart was erecting the structure was in dispute, but the journalist who pretended to be Captain Smart disregarded the disagreement and proceeded with the construction nevertheless.
Eventually, the genuine owner was victorious in a court of law and was forced to destroy every construction on the property.
Abro believes that for someone like Captain Smart to have constructed a structure on disputed territory demonstrates that he is not as intelligent as he claims.
He also stated that there had been complaints of construction material theft during the building of the Sofolins Interchange, which he said was true.
While conducting an investigation into the suspected thefts, Captain Smart ended up taking some of the construction supplies for himself.
According to Abro, this resulted in his arrest.
