The majority of Ghanaians have throng offices of telecommunication services across the country for their Sim Card re-registration exercise.

The situation at the Nkrumah Circle-Ring Road and Dansoman branches of MTN among other offices looked chaotic with heated exchanges among applicants.

Some prospective registrants told The BBBC Ghana they came there as early as 4am and are yet to be attended to as at 8:20am Wednesday morning when the news team visited the area.

“I came here at 2:00am and yet to be served but I have decided to take things cool and avoid any police issues. You know we are in Ghana and we have no option but to look up to God,” a Customer narrates his ordeal.

They contend that the National Identification Authority (NIA) and the Telecos should rather collaborate and make their process easier.
