According to confirmed information, the daughter of Bekwai Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), Kwaku Kyei Baffour, was shot dead by unknown intruders.
The victim, who was thought to be 30 years old, was reportedly shot dead by unidentified attackers. It is unclear what precipitated the now-deceased man’s deadly gunshot.
This tragic occurrence occurred on Thursday, August 3, 2023, near Kumasi in the Ashanti Region, when the victim, known as Akua Serwaa, was attacked by the assailants at about 8 p.m.
The deceased’s body was later lodged at the Bekwai Municipal Hospital mortuary for autopsy. The deceased’s family has yet to make a public statement on the tragedy.
More importantly, the Ghana Police has started making inquiries to determine the purpose of the attack and subsequent gun down.
