The Divine Mission Academy community came alive with vibrant colours, rhythmic beats, and heartfelt poetry as the school hosted its much-anticipated Culture and Heritage Ceremony, held alongside the graduation of Junior High School students and the promotion of pupils advancing to the next academic level.

The event showcased the rich cultural diversity of Ghana, reflecting the backgrounds of students from all regions of the country. Proudly dressed in traditional costumes, the young performers treated the audience to captivating cultural dances, authentic costume displays, and moving poetry recitations in celebration of Ghana’s heritage.

“Our aim is to nurture not only academic excellence but also cultural pride, unity, and respect for traditions,” said Dr. Godfred Aawaar, Head of School. “Seeing our students confidently celebrate their roots while embracing their future is truly inspiring.”

The celebration was also a moment of achievement for the graduating Junior High School Class of 2025, who were honoured for their hard work and dedication. Additionally, students from various classes were recognised as they advanced to the next stage of their education, symbolising growth, determination, and the bright future ahead.

Traditional dances from various Ghanaian regions brought the stage to life, each performance rich with meaning and heritage.

Students proudly wore outfits representing their respective ethnic groups, creating a beautiful display of Ghana’s cultural tapestry.
Thought-provoking and heartfelt verses were delivered in multiple local languages, celebrating unity in diversity.

The day ended with cheers, applause, and a sense of unity, as students, teachers, parents, and community members joined together to appreciate both the academic progress and cultural richness nurtured at Divine Mission Academy.
