Kwame Apenteng, a member of the communications team of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) has questioned the sanity of former president John Dramani Mahama following his do or die comment.
According to him, Mr Mahama has not been in a good frame of mind since his defeat in the 2020 elections.
Speaking on Happy FM, he said Mahama is not known to be a violent man, however, his recent do or die comment suggests he’s had a mental breakdown.
He praised the NDC’s Kwabena Duffuor for standing up against Mahama and criticising his comment.
“I am glad Kwabena Duffour did that. I am glad he said this is the time for peace and cooperation, not for violence and divisiveness. Leadership is not about ego or even Election Day, but putting the health, prosperity, and safety of Ghanaians first every single day, all year round. Our children are hungry, our people are hurting, let’s not resort to conflict but come together for the betterment of all.”
