Dr. Bawumia has criticized NDC as a political party for being the brain behind Ghana’s economic downturn.
In the voice of Bawumia, the ideas the NDC always seek to govern with ends up rather collapsing the economy, therefore, they don’t deserve a chance to come back to power.
Speaking to residents of Odododiodio Constituency, Dr Bawumia urged Ghanaians not to go back for the NDC because they have nothing to offer except taking the country backwards.
“When we talk about ideas for the development of the economy for the creation of jobs – those ideas come from the NPP, and when you talk about ideas for collapsing an economy and creating unemployment, those ideas come from the NDC,” he said.
Mahamudu Bawumia is a Ghanaian economist and banker and the current Vice President of Ghana. He assumed office on 7 January 2017.
