Chairman Wontumi has said that even if he loses his post as Regional Chairman, he would still support the NPP in the 2024 elections.
Mr. Bernard Antwi-Boasiako, the NPP’s Ashanti Regional Chairman, made this comment while meeting party members to prepare them for the party’s upcoming polling station elections.
His pledge to support the party regardless of his future position earned him the biggest applause from the crowd.
“Even if I don’t win as Regional Chairman and the party has to replace me to win in 2024”, Chairman Wontumi stated.
“The toughest effort is the election at the voting station,” he warned party members. If it works, we win the elections”.
Chairman Wontumi also urged party delegates to choose competent voting station representatives.
