As earlier reported by The BBC Ghana, Ebenezer Osei Bonsu has subjected his 3-year-old baby to severe beatings over bedwetting.
Apparently, the father who is an abusive man used power cable to whip the kid for bedwetting. The 26year-old mother (Barbara Obeng) also spoke to the media on how she’s survived this abusive relationship for 7 years.
Ebenezer Osei Bonsu is a National Service Person and according to the mother of the baby, it took the intervention of the Boukrom Police in the Ashanti Region to rescue the child.

As we speak, the Circuit Court in Kumasi, presided over by Ms Patricia Amponsah, has granted Ebenezer Osei Bonsu bail in the sum of GH¢50,000, with three sureties to be justified. The case was adjourned to May 21, 2020, for hearing.
As a reminder, both Ebenezer Osei Bonsu and Barbara Obeng were former students of Okomfo Anokye Senior High School who were in a relationship for a while that produced a son, the victim.
