Seasoned journalist, Kwesi Pratt Jnr in the year 2020 expressed concerns over President Nana Akufo-Addo’s free water and electricity supply, claiming Ghanaians will pay back next year.
Kwesi Pratt predicted that this year (2021) water and electricity tariffs will see an astronomical increase as a result of the President’s freebies.
“I will not be surprised if next year tariffs on water and electricity go up.”
He made this comment during a panel discussion on Peace FM’s flagship programme ”Kokrokoo”.
Fast forward in 2021, the words of Kwesi Pratt has manifested as unscrupulous Akufo Addo has introduced alien taxes – covid tax, betting tax, sanitation tax, etc.
It’s at the back of this that Ghanaians have taken to social media to vent their frustration over what they describe as poor governance by the President Akufo-Ado-led administration.
