Former Kumawood filmmaker Frank Fiifi Gharbin has wholeheartedly apologized to Alex Kofi Adu Mensah aka Agya Koo.
Agya Koo and Frank Fiifi Gharbin fought after the infamous Okomfo Anokye film was made.
Agya Koo refused to go naked and film a portion in the Okomfo Anokye movie after speaking with various elders at Manhyia Palace.
Agya Koo said Kumawood movie directors and producers plotted against him, preventing him from prominent roles.
So said Frank Fiifi Gharbin on Ike De Unpredictable’s Angel Fm Entertainment Show. I must apologize to Agya Koo, my elder brother.
Amid several attempts by directors and producers to reconcile Agya Koo and Frank Fiifi Gharbin, Gharbin remarked on live radio that now is the right time to apologize.
In the movie Okomfo Anokye, I am fully responsible for everything that happened. So please forgive me, Agya Koo, so we may work together to develop the Kumawood Movie Industry,” he said.
Ghanaians love Agya Koo movies because he was the greatest actor and legend in Kumawood and I was the best director in Kumawood.
The staff of Okomfo Anokye Movie Industry wants Agya Koo to forgive me and embrace me as his younger brother.
“We need teamwork, love, and unity to revive Kumawood,” he said.
