Unemployed 38-year-old farmer from Ayisakro, a village near Axim in the Nzema East Municipality of the Western Region, was found guilty of trying to sacrifice his kid for money.
A person trade accusation was filed against Kwabena Ebo under the Human Trafficking Act 694 of 2001. The accused pled guilty and urged the judge for leniency.

On Connect FM’s Omanbapa morning program, Nhyiraba Paa Kwesi Simpson, the fetish priest said he was happy with the court’s sentencing.
“I believe it’s fair. I observed the accused’s regret in court, but nothing could have rescued him at that time. “He’ll learn from this,” he said.
