Ghana Police Service has revealed that it’s hunting for the Western Togoland Secessionist who mounted signboards at Akorley in Somanya in the Eastern Region.

On Thursday, September 3, 2020, people in the vicinity woke up to meet the signage with the inscription “Welcome to Western Togoland”.

The signage was also having “You are leaving Western Togoland” which is believed that the group who are embarking on the Togoland Secessionist planted it.

Some months back, some key members of the group were arrested and detained by the government as they bent on creating a nation from Ghana.

According to reports similar signage has also been Mount at Akuse in the Lower Manya Krobo Municipality and the police have however pulled down the signage and a serious hunt is ongoing.
