The results of an autopsy performed on the corpse of late gospel musician Osinachi Nwachukwu have been released.
The Nigeria Police Force has also acted swiftly in forwarding the results to the ministry of justice’s department responsible for prosecution.
The effort is anticipated to bring Peter Nwachukwu, the deceased’s husband, to justice, since eyewitnesses and family members have testified that he was an abusive spouse.
According to the Nation newspaper, the National Hospital in Abuja, which conducted the post-mortem, sent its results to the police.
The paper was transferred to the Directorate of Public Prosecutions (DPP) office of the Attorney General of the Federation for a legal opinion, which was then transmitted to the Force Headquarters.
When the autopsy report was finished, it was referred to the Director of Public Prosecutions for screening and potential prosecution.
