An accident at Kyekyewere on the Accra-Kumasi Highway has taken the lives of about eleven(11) people.
This comes after a week of similar incident that happened at Suhum in the Eastern region where three lives were lost.
Speaking to TheBBCGhana.com, the Ayensuano NADMO Director, Joseph Okai Gyan who spoke said the vehicles involved are a DAF articulated truck, an STC Bus and a Grand Bird Bus.
The Ayensuano NADMO Director, Joseph Okai Gyan narrating what caused the accident said the Daf truck was coming from the Accra side of the road but the driver seems to have lost control of the steering wheel and had crashed a Grand Bird bus.
Adding that, the STC bus which was behind the Grand Bird Bus did not spot the accident that had occurred in front early so efforts of the driver to dodge the truck proved futile hence their involvement in the accident.
