John Dumelo, a Ghanaian actor and farmer, is ecstatic with the approval of the Narcotics Control Commission Amendment Bill 2023.
The law was adopted by Ghana’s parliament following its third reading on July 12, 2023.
Companies can get licenses and cultivate cannabis for industrial purposes when the bill is passed.

In a Twitter message, John Dumelo expressed his delight at the new legislation. He claimed that he is excited to start growing cannabis for therapeutic and industrial uses.
