On October 26, 2021, the IGP and some senior police officers held a closed-door meeting with the leadership of faith-based organizations in the country.
The meeting, according to a police statement was to deliberate on how churches and other organizations can go about their operations especially in the area prphrvies
Apart from that, the Inspector General of Police (IGP), George Akuffo Dampare has cautioned general public especially religious leaders over doomed prophecies on 31st Night.
In a statement, the Ghana Police Administration said, religious groups and leaders must be measured in their utterances, especially how they communicate prophecies, which may injure the right of others and the public interest.
Reaching to this, Rev Isaac Frimpong says all the happenings are part of the signs and symptoms of the ANTICHRIST adding that the media is silent about covid protocols if secular events take place in the country.
Taking to Facebook, the man of God who is Kumasi-based wrote,
“You see how non of the media houses spoke against the secular events that went on in this Covid Christmas for flouting the covid-19 protocols. You will see them shouting and insulting men of God and churches after 31st night, for flouting the covid-19 protocols. Why are the various religious leaders quiet, where are our revered men of God, this is the time to fight and defend Christianity. Now IGP wants to regulate how prophecy should be given, if we become too silent, very soon they will start telling us what to preach and what not to preach. The era of ANTICHRIST has started manifesting. Time to defend our FAITH is now – Rev Isaac Frimpong
