In support of his coup d’etat claim against former President John Dramani Mahama, NPP Bono Regional Chairman Kwame Baffoe, alias Abronye DC, has offered to send information to the Ghana Police.
The ruling New Patriotic Party leader told Adom FM on Tuesday that he is eager to assist the authorities in their investigation.
“I believe they indicated the reason in their letter. This is a simple request for me to cooperate with investigations and I will comply,” he added.
He noted that he had previously accepted a police invitation about Mr Mahama, but that it had failed.
According to him, the police did not act on the evidence they received because former President Mahama was not ready to pursue the case.
The Accra Regional Police Command invited Abronye DC after he claimed Mahama met with Al Qaeda members to organize a coup in Ghana.
Mr. Barker-Vormawor, the convenor of the #FixTheCountry Movement, was allegedly responding to his detention.
We’re all crossing our fingers to see what evidence the controversial politician has to back up his allegation.
