Controversial Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Bernard Antwi-Bosiako, popularly known as Chairman Wontumi has admonished flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress, John Dramani Mahama describing him as a ‘rebel leader’.
According to Wontumi, the former president does not exhibit signs of a worthy opposition leader who wants power.
Speaking on the Wontumi Morning Show, he stated that John Mahama has no direction and doesn’t seem to know where he’s headed to with barely three months to the December polls.
“As an opposition leader, it is very unfortunate you don’t have a campaign message. You are now acting like a rebel leader… You have a problem and it has to do with stealing,” the NPP chairman stated.
Meanwhile, the NDC is yet to launch its manifesto after rescheduling it to September 7, 2020.
