His Excellency President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has named Yaw Osafo-Maafo as a Senior Presidential Advisor.
The former senior minister made the announcement during a meeting of the Birim Central Municipal Assembly in Akyem Oda, noting that he received notice of the appointment a week ago.
In the most recent development, Yaw Osafo-Marfo has been summoned to serve his country once more, despite having informed the President of his intention to retire and remain in the background during Akufo-second Addo’s term.
During his speech to the Birim Central Municipal Assembly on Tuesday, he also donated GHc25,000 and a number of roofing sheets to victims of last week’s rainstorm disaster in Akyem Oda.
