Karma is a belief that whatever you do will come back to you, either in this life or the next. It is embraced by followers of Buddhism, Hinduism, and others around the world. For some, this is not only deeds but thoughts and words as well. Many karma examples, both good and bad, can be seen in everyday life.
This phenomenon of Karma, at the moment, can best be used to describe the situation of maverick MP for Assin Central, Kennedy Ohene Agyapong.
Mr Agyapong was cited by veteran journalist, Abdul Malik Kweku Baako on Wednesday as having ties to one Salis Yakubu Atsuluho, the journalist at the center of the viral video of President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo receiving a brown envelope which the NDC allege contains $40,000.
The said video and its entire narrative have been disputed by the President’s camp who have also made available what they claim to be the original video that has been distorted by the said Salis Yakubu for mischievous purposes.
According to Veteran Journalist, Abdul Malik Kweku Baako, the same Salis Yakubu was the one who was paid by the Assin Central MP to distort videos that suggest that Anas Aremeyaw Anas is an extortionist who collects money from his victims.
Now it appears the loudmouth MP was not the only one paying Salis Yakubu to distort videos and embarass innocent persons.
Now that the attack has hit very close to him, the maverick MP is now threatening fire and brimstone on the same person he used to denigrate others in order to achieve whatever purpose he sought to achieve.
On TV yesterday, Mr Agyapong openly confessed all that the said Yakubu told him about Anas Aremeyaw Anas.
“He said a lot of things about Anas to me. He said he did some job for Anas in Ivory Coast and he was not paid. I will not say anything for now, but what that Yakubu guy did is worse than what Suale did. They were smart to murder the guy (Hussein-Suale) and accuse me of being behind it. I will not say anything for now until we finish the case. I will tell the world who that Yakubu guy. He is a very evil guy.” The lawmaker said.
Ken Agyapong’s antics now that his boss and flagbearer has been caught in the same trap he laid for Anas Aremeyaw Anas reminds of a popular saying that “what you put out will come back to you in unexpected ways”.
