Kennedy Agyapong In Trouble As Angry Chiefs Of Assin Central Pours Libation On His Head

Chiefs and the elders of the Assin Fosu Traditional Council have poured libation over the decision of their loved member of parliament Hon.

Kennedy Agyapong over the decision he has made not to contest again as a member of parliament in the upcoming 2020 elections.

Hon. Kennedy Ohene Akompreko Agyapong is the current member of parliament of the Assin central for the New Patriotic Party (NPP). He was first elected a member of parliament in 2000 to the seat of Assin North. He retained his seat in the 2004 and 2008 parliamentary elections. In 2012, he was elected in the new seat of Assin Central and was re-elected in 2016, theBBCgahna.Com reports.

Due to his hard work and numerous achievements for his people Hon. Kennedy Agyapong is being loved by his people.

At the beginning of this year Hon. Kennedy made a statement that he will not contest the parliamentary seat of the Assin Central in the coming December 7th polls.

This statement made by the politico came as a surprise and a shock to Ghanaians and the people of the Assin Central in particular.

According to them, there are a lot of projects such as roads and other developmental projects that need to be completed by Kennedy Agyapong. Also, they don’t think they will get any selfless MP as Hon. Kennedy Agyapong and for that, they wish he could still maintain his seat.

They also asked the gods to protect Honourable Kennedy Agyapong for his good work for the community.
