Founder and CEO of the Atta Mills Institute and former aide to the late former President of the Republic of Ghana Professor John Evans Atta-Mills has revealed the reason why the former Central Regional Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Mr. Bernard Allotey Jacobs has been suspended.
Mr. Koku Anyidoho, shared a picture of himself and Allotey Jacobs shedding tears during the funeral rites of former President John Evans Atta Mills on his twitter page, with the caption “8 years ago, this is how Allotey Jacobs and Koku Anyidoho mourned the death of President Atta-Mills. Today, some Johnny-Just-Comes, want to nail us because we were loyal to a good man?”
The Functional Executive Committee (FEC) of the National Democratic Congress acting on behalf of the National Executive Committee (NEC) of the party in a letter dated 6th May 2020 suspended the former central regional Chairman of the NDC Mr. Allotey Jacobs violating and a breeching of Article 46(1), 46(6) and 46(8)(b) of the party’s constitution and has been referred to the Disciplinary Committee of the Party for further action.
