As a constituency that gave candidate Akufo-Addo 86,000 votes in the 2020 Presidential elections, Kwabre East would reverse the feat and punish the New Patriotic Party if nothing is don’t about their unmotorable roads.
A presiding member in Kwabre East, Lawyer George Oppong, has said with 2024 lurking around, the people of Kwabre East won’t come out in their numbers to vote for the NPP if they don’t see changes on their roads before the next elections.
With the 86,000 votes the constituency gave the party, Lawyer George Oppong explained on Wontumi TV that it went a long way to cancel thousands of votes the National Democratic Congress obtained from other places.
The sad part of the Kwabre East story is that other constituencies that surround them all have their roads asphalted whilst nothing has been done for them.
“Was it a crime for us to give NPP 86k votes? We have a serious message for NPP government and that is that 2024 is just lurking around”, he cautioned.
