Margaret Mwintuur Dery was recently announced as the youth brand ambassador for the Cultural Oneness Festival, a subsidiary of The Taste Of Afrika Ltd, via multiple Ghanaian news sites.

Fast forward to now, Margaret Mwintuur Dery, a former beauty queen and award-winning entrepreneur, has begun laying the framework to convey a signal of good prospects as an ambassador.

Margaret Mwintuur Dery, Ghana’s Minister for tourism, Arts, and Culture, paid a visit to Dr. Ibrahim Mohammed Awal’s office over the weekend to explore how her new position as the Youth Brand Ambassador for the Cultural Oneness Festival may work on a number of projects to help the tourist sector.

“I am happy to have received Madam Margaret Dery because her new role is in line with my position and my team is ever ready to give her the needed support to sell tourism in the Northern sector to Africa and the rest of the world.

“I am optimistic about the future as she made me aware of some projects she has already started in the North, especially in the area of girl-child education and marriage campaign and women empowerment”, of Dr. Ibrahim Mohammed Awal told the press after the meeting.

Margaret Mwintuur Dery is a multi-award-winning entrepreneur from Ghana. She earned an honours diploma from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration.

She was a former Miss Ghana beauty queen who worked on a variety of topics such as replenishing the country’s blood bank, avoiding child marriage, and arranging contributions to aid scoliosis sufferers, among others.

Margaret Dery works with women in remote areas to improve their level of living. She is a specialist on issues concerning women’s empowerment.
